We provide In-Home nail care assistance to seniors and persons with disabilities, those recovering from surgery. Our services are available for anyone whose illness or other physical incapacitation prevents them from visiting a salon, or for anyone who just want to enjoy a manicure or pedicure in the comfort and convenience of their own home.

No Risk Manicures and Pedicures for Diabetic Clients

Diabetics need nail technicians who see themselves as client advocates, professionals who will educate themselves on the particular needs of this clientele and then create a clean, safe environment where diabetic clients can relax and enjoy spa services.

Diabetic neuropathy is an abnormality in the nervous system that results in poor circulation. Poor circulation can cause loss of feeling, and it also prevents the body from nourishing the cells properly, which slows or prevents healing. Improper healing is worsened in the extremities (hands and feet) which brings us full circle to why manicures and pedicures may pose a risk for diabetics. If a diabetic has poor circulation and has lost some feeling in her toes, she will not know if the water is too hot, if she has a cut or nick, or even if a technician is filing her foot too hard.

The island of Montreal and nearby surroundings. We are MOBILE, which means we'll come to you! All tools and materials are supplied and are completely sanitized. Areas generally covered are LaSalle, Montreal West, NDG, CSL, Westmount, and Montreal Centre-Ville. West Island, Point Claire, Beaconsfield etc., and Montreal east are also covered but may require an extra transportation fee. Please call for further details.
